Applying Loose Mineral Foundation

Tap a small amount of powder into the top and swirl your Kabuki brush into it. Tap the bottom of the handle with the brush head facing upward on a hard surface (e.g. Bathroom counter). This settles the powder into the brush head. Firmly spread powder on clean, dry skin to evenly blend pigments.

For blemishes, a separate concealer is not needed. Use a shader brush to apply small amounts to the problem areas and blend well. For those with dry, flaky skin, loose mineral foundation can be blended with our specially formulated cream to create a cream foundation. First moisturize as usual, then tap a small amount of powder into the palm of the hand. Add a drop of moisturizer. Blend the two products together until a smooth, creamy consistency is achieved. Use your fingers or make-up wedge to apply.

Setting Powders

Recommended brush: flat-top bronzer

Apply setting powders and/or veils, the same way you apply the foundation. This can be used over your foundation, under your foundation or can be worn alone.

Blushes

About the Products

Natural loose powder mineral blushes are made from pure mica, so while the texture is extraordinarily soft, the color is concentrated. Use just a few crumbs on a cotton ball or a blush brush. Make sure to tap all of the excess powder off of the brush, until there is just a faint dusting on the tips of the bristles, then gently glide over the cheeks. Very little blending is needed.

Directions

Loose mineral blushes are very concentrated and should be applied sparingly. The simplest way to apply them is with a cotton ball. Press the cotton ball onto the sifter, then tap the jar so a little bit of blush powder gets on the cotton ball. Then gently glide the color over the apples of the cheek, and blend. If you prefer to use a brush, a fan brush is the best option. A traditional blush brush isn't recommended, as it picks up too much of the powder.
